Leadership

A team of people serving with their unique gifts and abilities—this is what makes CEFC the church that it is. We value equipping volunteers to lead and finding the unique ministry niche of every person in the congregation. We have a variety of people providing leadership in areas like teaching, worship, caring, administration, students, and children, which demonstrates our value of unified team ministry. A few of our key leaders are listed below (in alphabetical order).

Jennifer Kvamme
Student Ministries Coordinator

jenniferJennifer has a passion for equipping students to love God and serve others. She gets to do this as student ministries coordinator for CEFC, where she’s served since 2003, as well as in her work with Cadre Ministries. Jennifer has a double major in English–Writing and in Bible from Northwestern College. When she’s not with students, you can find Jennifer reading or writing a book, enjoying a latte with friends, experimenting with photography, planning her next road trip, or hanging out with her husband, Greg.

Ericca Hoffer
Director of Church Life

ericcaEricca has ministered at CEFC since 2009, helping people get connected to the CEFC community so they can grow, serve, and multiply effectively.  Ericca keeps our congregation informed, answers people’s questions, and helps people find a place that fits their needs and gifts.  She enjoys event planning, organizing, and taking on tasks others might rather avoid, as well as volunteering at The Edge, CEFC’s student ministry. Ericca is newly married to Taylor and is a graduate of Century College.

Peter Rieke
Worship Ministries Coordinator

peterPeter has been coordinating our worship ministries since 2003, and he loves to be able to work with such a talented group of people to create authentic and meaningful times of worship. Peter and his wife, Elise, have been married since 2006 and have two daughters, Alethea and Lydia. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, and when he has spare time, he enjoys reading, playing with the girls, cooking, cheering for the Twins, photographing things, and playing guitar.

Larry Stromberg
Pastor

larryLarry has pastored CEFC since 1998. He is a graduate of Moody Graduate School, Chicago, IL, and previously pastored churches in Maine and Indiana. Since 2003 he has also served as chaplain for the Lino Lakes Police Department. Larry and his wife, Chris, have four children. His passions are expository preaching and encouraging younger leaders. His biggest challenge is attention to details! In his “spare time” he can be found studying Spanish or hanging out with his grandson, Avery.  Larry is helplessly addicted to books, coffee, and the Chicago Cubs.
