Giving Kids a Gospel-Shaped View of Sexuality – Seminar for Parents
February 15 6:30 - 8:00 pm
The Bible has gotten a bad rap lately when it comes to its teachings on sexuality, and kids and teens are often caught in the middle of a cultural agenda and Christian values. How do we talk about this important topic with our kids—in a way that reflects the truth of Scripture and the heart of God? Jennifer will be teaching through six foundations for a gospel-shaped view of sexuality and discuss how we can communicate these truths in a way that points to the bigger story of redemption and displays God’s instructions not as just rules an limits but as a path to real freedom and joy. This seminar is geared for parents of teens, to equip you for conversations with your own students and to give you a preview of what we’ll be covering in our biblical sexuality series starting in March. However, the training is open to parents and grandparents of kids of all ages—or any other adults who want to be better equipped to talk about this important topic with truth and love. Feel free to invite friends, as well. This event is free, and childcare is offered. (Please contact info@cefc.net if you have kids who will be coming).
