Psalm 75
June 7, 2026 We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds. Thank you for these Psalms that remind us to worship and give thanks to you, particularly when we are stressed, in over our head, and feeling like the enemy has the upper hand. We trust in you, and that you will establish justice.
This morning we pray for Tim to make a speedy recovery from being struck by a tree limb he was cutting. Thank you the injuries were not worse, and we pray for a full recovery.
We lift up Ryan who struggles day-to-day with degradation to his muscles and makes daily activities that we take for granted much more difficult.
We pray for our Global partners that will be here this summer to visit with family and support teams. May they be encouraged and strengthened. Watch over their travels. Be with them as they adjust back to American culture. We pray for their children growing up in one culture and the differences they see coming to visit in the United States. We pray for N, C, D, and K, that you would sustain them with energy.
We thank you father for Jesus Christ, the head of our church, who came to serve and sacrifice his life for us. In all of his ways on earth, he showed us how to submit to you our Father, and leaned on the strength of the Spirit in numerous difficult circumstances. May we strive to be more like Jesus. To follow the way of Jesus and follow the way of the cross. May we care for one another well. May we put others needs ahead of our own. May we lay down our own desires for selfish things that do not satisfy. May we find joy in serving you. As we long for the future perfect kingdom that you will establish, may we work with our hands and our hearts towards your kingdom today.
In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
Amen
