Why Care?
At CEFC we see the Gospel as something we not only believe but also live.
Since the Gospel is God’s undeserved grace expressed toward us, we seek ways to express grace to all people, including the last, the least, and the lost.
As we strive to embody the gospel in our interactions with others, we frequently discover God uses these experiences to transform us, as well.
Some tangible ways we regularly show compassion include

- Collecting regularly for our Benevolent Fund in order to assist those experiencing short-term financial needs
- Supporting local food shelves
- Providing clothing and personal care items for the needy through organizations in the Twin Cities who serve the poor
- Financially and prayerfully supporting a missionary family serving in Poland
- Making a difference in world hunger by participating in the 30 Hour Famine
- Showing hospitality and supporting ministry to immigrants coming to America through our Project 17:27
- Leading regular trips to urban areas to minister and learn through Bridging Urban Mission Project (BUMP)
