Far away from home. Facing both national and personal crisis. Some 600 years before the birth of Jesus, lived a man named Daniel. You have maybe heard of some of the events of his life or even some of his dreams. But for Daniel, much of life was mysterious and uncertain. God was at work in his life, but mostly below the surface. Knowing God is there, that’s one thing. Understanding what He’s doing and why, well, that’s something else. Join us in learning about life by learning about Daniel and His God. We will see, as did Daniel, that in the midst of mystery and uncertainty there can also be comfort and hope.

Listening Lessons: Tuning Your Ear to God’s Voice

We live in a world filled with voices! Sometimes it can be tough knowing who to listen to and who to believe. We are currently looking at some stories from the Old Testament books of 1 and 2 Kings where people learned the practice of tuning-in to the voice of God in the midst of conflicting voices. A widow in economic depression, a civil leader with an incurable disease, a young leader with huge responsibilities… all learned how to tune-in to the voice we can trust. Join us and maybe you’ll be able to tune-in, too!

ACTS: Good News Moves Forward

This history of the good news of Jesus moving forward in the first century is much more than a history book! We are currently on a journey through the New Testament book of Acts. We are observing how similar their culture was to ours and what an impact the Gospel had in those early days of the church. We are learning that our cities, our challenges, and our context are not that different from theirs. And we hope to discover how we can make a difference as Christ-followers in our world like they did in their world.
