August – A Month of Guest Speakers

During Larry’s absence in August (he’ll be on vacation), the ministry of CEFC will continue as usual.  Guest teachers during the month will include Dan Moose, NCD Director of Church Planting; John Stromberg, Director of Teaching and Discipleship, Student Ministries; and Dave Linde, NCD Director of Church Resources.

CEFC Road Trip

please join us this summer for an out-of-the-ordinary, relationship packed, and explanation filled road trip at CEFC!  Over summer months sermons will cover many different topics and themes explaining different aspects of CEFC’s traditions and beliefs.  We’ll also be incorporating 2nd Sunday Breakfasts and BBQs to help knit together our church community.

ACTS: Good News Moves Forward

This history of the good news of Jesus moving forward in the first century is much more than a history book!  We are currently on a journey through the New Testament book of Acts.  We are observing how similar their culture was to ours and what an impact the Gospel had in those early days of the church.  We are learning that our cities, our challenges, and our context are not that different from theirs.  And we hope to discover how we can make a difference as Christ-followers in our world like they did in their world.
