30 Hour Famine Update

Last month was our annual 30-Hour Famine, in which students chose to go 30 hours without food in order to get a “taste” of hunger and raise money for hungry children in earthquake-devastated Haiti. Our 21 participants raised about $1150 for World Vision, packed 32 boxes of meals at Feed My Starving Children (about 1200 6-serving meals), and helped the Larson family clean up their recently-burned-down barn.
